In 1954, Harry Lundvall, a travelling salesman in Borlänge, Sweden, observed that products were ineffectively showcased and price tags were difficult to locate. At a time when groceries were shifting to self-service, Harry began making label holders and merchandising stands in his basement, using iron and lots of enthusiasm. His innovations quickly gained traction, enhancing product visibility and boosting store sales.

In the 1990s, under the visionary leadership of Harry's granddaughter, Lis, and her husband, Anders, the family business expanded its reach globally. They expanded the company by gaining new customers and entering new markets worldwide. The entrepreneurial spirit that propelled HL Display to the forefront is still at the heart of its culture.
